About the country
India is the seventh largest country in the world, located on the Indian subcontinent of South Asia. The length of the Indian coast is almost seven thousand kilometers and it is washed by Indian Ocean.
The Himalayas protect India from cold winds blowing from the center of the continent. As a result the Indian climate is warmer than the climate at the same latitudes of the planet.
In the South-West India is located Kerala state, where the average annual temperature is 24-28 degrees and prevails the humid tropical climate. During 4 centuries Kerala State inhabitants have been growing the best cacao beans in India.
